Magic Mike

No, I'm not going to write a review on the movie, not even on Channing Tatum's dance moves. I'm just posting a collage from this night's movie night out. :)

God Writes the Best Love Stories

Love: The way my grandfather looks at my grandmother declares for all to see that he has everything he ever wanted right there beside him. ♥ ♥ ♥

I read somewhere about a couple who has been married for 65 years and was asked about their secret for keeping the marriage that long. The wife replied that they where born in an age where they were taught to fix things that are broken, not throw them away. :)

In Love with Zapd

I now have 2 Zaps where I'd be posting photos I took with my iPhone. What is a Zap? A Zap is a website that is easily put up and maintained for busy people (like doctors). It is from a free app called Zapd. Zapd helps you create beautiful, free websites to share your experiences. When u make a Zap, the experience is automatically tailored to the device you are using. PC. Phone. Tablet. It is for bloggers who are always on the go (like doctors!). I love this so much. :) my Zaps are noiretblanc.zapd.net (where I'll be putting up my black and white photos) and cravings.zapd.us (where i will be posting my love for food in pictures).

Zapped with Zapd

I've recently (October of last year is still recent for me) put up a website and added it as a page here on my blog, a page about food! One of my favorite things! My figure attests to it :).

And I just love Zapd. Their tagline says that they help you create a website in 60 seconds from your iPhone, and they do. They really hold up to what they claim. And "when you make a Zap, the experience is automatically tailored to the device you are using. PC. Phone. Tablet." So it's not just for iPhone/iDevice  users. Coolness. This makes blogging simpler and faster in a lot of hundred ways. This is for people and residents like me who are often busy and always on the go.

And now I am happy to announce (announce: a big word, like I receive a lot of traffic) that I've added a new page, Noir et Blanc, where I'd be putting up my black and white photos taken with my iPhone.

Hope Lives!

O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?

3 days ago, we admitted a patient who fell from the second floor of a building. Amazingly enough, after thorough examination and work-up, his injuries were only broken bones on his left forefoot.

This is the antero-posterior and oblique x-ray views of his left forefoot showing fractures of the 2nd , 3rd and 4th  distal metatarsals, plus a dislocation of the 5th metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint. Ouch.

This is the x-ray after I did close reduction of the MTP dislocation at the ED.
